WHO WE ARE

Debbie Yazbek, Photographer

Debbie Yazbek started out in photography in the advertising world. She found herself victim in the late 80's to a bomb blast whilst on assignment on The Wild Coast. It was then that she made the decision to try her hand at news, pictorially recording South African history as it unfolds.
Having achieved this and after receiving several awards Nationally and Internationally Debbie was appointed as picture editor at The Star Newspaper in Johannesburg. Currently Debbie is freelanc¬ing for magazines and newspapers in South Africa and the UK.
